Energy crisis: Govt all-out to overcome shortfall

President Zardari constituted a cabinet committee, consisting of most experienced members to resolve this issue.

ISLAMABAD: Kashmir Affair and Gilgit-Baltistan Federal Minister and Cabinet Energy Committee Member Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has said that the country is facing acute power shortfall, therefore, all possible resources will be utilised to overcome the deficit. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari has constituted a cabinet committee, consisting of most experienced and responsible members to resolve this issue. Wattoo said that this committee has powers to take decision and tough resolution will be taken to overcome the looming power shortfall in the country. He assured that resources would be provided to make the power production plants fully operational to their maximum capacity.
