Six killed in Allahabad blast: Report
According to the report, 12 people also sustained injuries in the attack. The area was cordoned off and an investigation was initiated into the incident.
Eye-witnesses were quoted as saying that a bomb was planted in a garbage dump, and a few children were playing nearby when the blast occurred.
The nature of the blast remains unknown.

Allahabad is over 1000 km away from Ahmedabad (or Modi if you prefer) and ruled by a party which has been voted to power mainly by cornering the 18% muslim vote.
