Crime: Robbery at former minister’s house

Valuables worth Rs19 million were taken away from the house of former minister, Mian Shafiq, in a robbery

FAISALABAD: Valuables worth Rs19 million were taken away from the house of former minister, Mian Shafiq, in a robbery on Monday. Police said seven men broke into the house, four held the family at gunpoint and robbed it of Rs.1.5 million cash and gold ornaments worth Rs17.5 million while the remaining kept guard at the rooftop and the main entrance.Police said they have started investigations but they were yet to trace the dacoits.
