HARIPUR: A teenage girl was allegedly abducted from her home in Shadi village on Monday. A village local, Mir Afzal, told the police that he had left his 18-year-old daughter, Saiqa Bibi, home and left with the rest of his family to attend a wedding ceremony in a nearby village. When he returned, he found his daughter missing. In an FIR registered with the local police, the father has held Omar Zaman, his mother Safina Bibi, and their relative Faizan responsible for abducting his daughter. He, however, did not disclose the motives behind the alleged kidnapping. A criminal case was registered against the three nominated in the FIR but none of them were arrested till the filing of this report.
