Distillery raided: 70,000 litres of liquor seized

FAISALABAD: Jaranwala police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three men for possessing liquor and seized 70,000 litres of liquor. Jaranwala DSP Rana Mohammad Aslam led a team in a raid near Saim Quarters and arrested three men preparing liquor at a distillery. Aslam said the police were looking for other bootleggers. A neighbour told The Express Tribune that the distillery had been raided earlier as well but no liquor had been recovered.
