The development comes two days after the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders allegedly got into a fracas with MCA officials and security personnel at the Wankhede stadium.
Khan had taken a group of youngsters including his daughter Suhana onto the pitch of the Wankhede Stadium after a match.
A security guard had tried to stop them from playing, leading the multi-millionaire actor to argue angrily for 10-15 minutes before finally giving up and leaving the stadium, an AFP photographer had witnessed.
The 46-year-old was embroiled in another ugly row in January after a female director accused him of assaulting her husband at a late-night party.

@jagjit sidhoo:
Sidhoo ji, I offer my warmth wishes to fans of SRK & KKR, perhaps I haven’t even watched a single game till today...
@Rana: Hi you would be glad to know that SRK's team won today and they are in the finals.
@Rana: I will respect you for loving your country and religion if you can somehow do it without hating the rest of the world. Life is not black & white there is a lot of grey
@jagjit sidhoo:
Thanks a lot for your offer, you may find a bundle of ppl like him, who happy accept your offer, whom always remain cursing what they are associated to. take good care of yourself as we diffidently belong to different religions & thoughts. I may have failed to brought him to the point that If you follow a religion & love your country, then don't feel ashamed of your identity.
@Rana: Why don't you earn similar praise
@jagjit sidhoo:
Of course he deserve your praises, that's why he is struggling to prove himself alongside his friends.
@Rana:I am a SRK fan but i do not subscribe to the" sat khoon maf "philosophy .As far as Faraz is concerned who would not like to have a sane, logical and tolerant person like him as a brother.
@Faraz:
Here comes your REAL brother (jigjit sidhoo) to rescue you, rest to follow!!!
@jagjit sidhoo:
You are right; our understanding could never reach to one point, that's why we are separated by a border line.
Time magazine has ranked Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 hit 'Devdas' eighth among the ten greatest movies of the millennium with 'Moulin Rouge', 'Avatar', 'Wall E', 'The Lord Of The Rings' and 'The Hurt Locker' at the top and 'The Artist' on the tenth spot. It described Shah Rukh Khan as an "all-world charismatist"
Doesn’t SRK need to be a respected??? He brought the pride for your country which you ppl could never have, perhaps it was team work. Sham on all of SRK haters
@jagjit sidhoo:
You are right; our understanding could never reach to one point, that's why we are separated by a border line.
@Faraz:
Your thinking is so messed up that I shouldn’t even be commenting. “religion is not the end of the world”
Here you have again indorsed my opinion about your state of mind regarding religion. My comments may have over charged your ego?
So why are you wasting your precious time here, just to defend your Ego? you are offering justifications just to impress your non Muslim friends for your own reason (Man look at me how liberal i am).
persons like you very actively trying their best to mix wine and the milk just to mint some bucks. Go n join the Musharraf's brigade.
@Faraz: Leave Rana alone he will never understand
@Rana: Besides, useless/pointless talking to someone who belongs to Zahid Hamid's school of thought. I would just laugh at this :D.
Again both of your comments state how you perceive the religion. Islam never allows us to perceive it in our own ways. Persons like you are product of pervez musharrafic moderate Islam who always offer excuses for being Muslim. Your earlier comments clearly targeting Islam and Pakistan in which you are putting justifications to your non Muslim friends perhaps due to your very own personal reasons. Islam is a religion of complete acceptance and obedience. One should not feel ashamed for being branded as Muslim fundamentalist, do you?? You can’t disassociate from yourself your earlier comments which summarize you as person who feel religion as 2nd priority. Religious tolerance is entirely another subject; first you should place yourself at the very right place about what exactly you believe in. We are invaded and surrounded by more than 50 countries for last 12 years not for our land, just because of our religion. They need to produce a Muslim breed like you whom less bothered about religion. Do they show any tolerance while bombing our cities??? Then why we are asked for religious tolerance??
@Faraz:
Further, you should be appreciated for coming forward being a sole rescuer of all other commenting persons against Pakistan and Islam. You are nicely representing the collective mindset of your friends
@Rana: or whatever your name is lol,... and I am not ashamed of being a religious man but yes, I am ashamed of people wanting to kill in the name of religion, people thinking being Muslim is the end of the world and a Muslim can never be wrong. I am ashamed of everything AGAINST our Prophet's (PBUH) teachings and I believe he taught and preached tolerance which people like you my friend don't show often enough like you calling me Non-Muslim here because you can't agree with me. Sad indeed but justifies what I wrote. Do you know if you are going to heaven? that you are a very true Muslim? so how can you judge others??
@Rana: Wow, read my comments again, I didn't even write anything on the specifics of Islam (only commented on our Pakistani mindset), you are so full of hate and going all personal, perfectly highlights the intolerance in our society, now you will issue a fatwa to kill somebody because you can't agree with them. I am as Muslim as anybody who believes in Allah and his Messenger (PBUH) can be and I don't need to prove it you or anybody. An atheist? excuse me what did I write for you to brand me an atheist? people like you are consuming are society, who judge on whatever they think is right! Stop judging others (na-aaozbillah you are NO ALLAH) and stop branding people as Muslims/non-muslims based on what you think is the right Islam and DO not go personnel. A Muslim who does not agree with you is NOT a non-Muslim. Hope you get it :).
@Faraz: If you believe in a religion and still feel ashamed of being associated to, then don’t be hypocrite and disassociate yourself, because following any religion meant you should at least be proud of it.
@Faraz: or what so ever your name is. You are definitely not a Muslim, might by an atheist, because a weakest Muslim’s (by religious believes) priority/ identity is always religion by default. Your non Muslim friends are better than you at least they don’t hide themselves and offer excuses being what ever they believe in. People like you are the stain on any religious society.
@Rana: (and @Sudheer, later) so what, he misbehaved and should be punished. Your mind is obviously blocked by religious hatred and typical conspiracy theories. Most Pakistanis can't reason and think logically, to us, religion is the end of everything. I agree with Sudheer, too. Your comments hurt but I am myself appalled at the state of affairs in Pakistan, people going crazy over religion, we just cannot think rationally anymore. a society consumed by religious intolerance and we think the same exists the other side of the border, I am a Pakistani living abroad and have many Indian friends, and I certainly don't think this is the case. India is definitely a progressive state which we are not because of people like Rana and 'someone' and most unfortunately they are the majority.
@someone: LOL, do you even know anything about India?? And as far as Muslims go, he was DRUNK, is that something Muslims are supposed to do?? Stop your conspiracy theories here at least and please stop bringing religion into everything, if being Muslim is such a crime then how come he has achieved everything that he has?? close-minded/ignorant comments like these make us Pakistanis sound like a joke. Just read the responses to your comment and you will realize how wrong you are!
I am a SRK fan , most of his movies are great , he is by far the best host at the award functions & he is secular . You let your fans down SRK
@Tony Sing
Coudn't agree more with your depiction of north indian brashness (a typical punjabi traiit). Incidentally most of the suspects in current IPL irregularities are players from this part of India.In a way it proovides us an window to the anti punjabi feelings among some of our friends across the border.
IPL is all about celebrities,sex and scandals.As the owner of a team he thinks he also owns the game and can get away with an thing and others should meekly cow down.Yes he should be banned for a lifetime.
Ha, ha, ha, ha Here we are fighting about Sharukh’s misbehavior. what about 2G scam, where 200 crore went. Sharukh's problem can be solved by apologizes or some penalty. but how to recover 200 crore for this govt. don't have time.
@A.S.Ahamed Farooq:
......In the course of the celebration he might have committed some offence.Such things need to overlooked paying the person due respect..............
Your comment doesn't make sense to me. You agreed he might have committed some offence but wants law to look other way isn't? Just because he is a celebrity his 'offences' must not be overlooked. This is happening to a person who punching way beyond his weight, broke the law and has to be shown his place by the law. It is funny to see the comment about his pulling Indian cinema into modern times. I can't believe you guys are so ignorant.
@Jai: Akshay may be an exception, but SRK 's behavior is a rule.
SRK should be severely punished , so that all arrogant belong to his category should learn lesson . He showed his temper in front of a poor guard , where were this temper when he was being frisked in USA ? It's typical Indian mindset , we have to change this .
@Jai: @Sudheer: @Niño:
The Shiv Sena on Saturday lashed out at actor Shah Rukh Khan for the Wankhede brawl episode, saying he should have been handed a life ban by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).
That’s the mindset you all people follows shamelessly, biased and Narrow minded. And my God still you people have the argument??? Don’t your people are bigger religious fanatics than Muslims?
@DrPriyanka - I agreed
@Tony Singh: There are a lot of Delhi guys in the industry. No need to paint an entire city brash. They aren't brash. Akshay Kumar is from Delhi and is humble and always respects his seniors. SRK is a narcissist.
@Rana: This would never happen to Amitabh Bachchan because Bachchan would never stoop to Sharukh's level. He carries himself with dignity. He would not get drunk and argue with the guard of a stadium. The guard was doing his job. The pitch is for professional matches and his job is to preserve the pitch not let kids play on it. You need to learn the definition of racism first. SRK is the same race as Indians so it isn't racial discrimination. Moreover if SRK was being discriminated in any way in India he would not have become such a big movie star in the first place and be allowed to buy a cricket team in the IPL. He is currently the richest Bollywood star. Point is money does not buy class. SRK is a rude, self obsessed, narcissist who treats people like trash now that he's got money.
No wonder he is stripped naked at US airports. But he won't show his heroics in West and say "Gaad ke rakh doonga" to even a janitor at the airport, forget the security personnel frisking him....I just love this selective heroism, you choose your battles...lol :)
PS: and all this talk of manhandling children is an afterthought, it it were the case he should have been shouting about it there at the night of this fiasco itself and not the next morning.
Shahrukh Khan should be a role model for the future generation and like a father figure to all Indians. Instead he wants to boss over people and tries to show off. The security guard was doing his duty and Shahrukh Khan was breaking the rules. He should learn something from Imran Khan who was always so humble, even though he was an international celebrity. He has given his blood and sweat and money to build a hospital and look at what our Khan is doing? I am disappointed!
@Sudheer: your statement hurts but is right. the bigotry and religious insanity of Pakistan society has reached shameful heights. These morons do not get that SRK is an Indian and and great because he is an Indian and not muslim. Such is the state of Zia Ul Haq's Pakistan.
@Rana: just know that SRK is one pin drop in India cinema-go learn about India cinema and its list of megastars and stop wasting time of others. Shame that you could not keep religion of our mind.
The comments in these forums from some people in Pakistan clearly showcases the fundamental issue with the psychology of some Pakistani people. The issue is that everything boils down to religion. It's not a superstar behaving badly but Muslim superstar being hounded because he is Muslim. And conveniently forgotten is the fact that indias majority are Hindus and he cant be superstar without their fan base. Also conveniently forgotten is that bollywood big honchos are mostly Muslims. All this "convenient" forgetfulness because some people see everything through the prism of religion and inculcated bigotry. But even these people have to someday stop being conveniently"forgetfull" because the human mind can only take that much abuse.
Why do Pakistanis see religion in everything. Probably its the way they are brought up
it does not matter to pakistanis if somebody is right or wrong,as long as he is a muslim,he must be right and all the whole world is telling lie.as far as shahrukh's movies are concerned,they all are garbage except a few.the real king khan is Aamir..SRK is just a media created over hyped arrogant celebrity..
lol. Why are Pakistanis always so emotional about Shahrukh Khan?
SRK is indisputably an Internationaly renowned personality who merits special consideration.His contribution to enrichment and advancement of Hindi film industry is indeed noteworthy.He is one who has won the hearts and minds of millions and millions all over the world.Treating such a personage in this manner by MCA is highly distasteful..As one of the owners of Kolkata Night Riders SRK is entitled to celebrate their victory.In the course of the celebration he might have committed some offence.Such things need to overlooked paying the person due respect.The 5 year ban imposed on him from entering Wankehde stadium should be lifted.
Rana, Where were you and others like you when Indian government , media and public made the US Government apologize for detaining Shahrukh Khan for two hours at the airport? Didn't you all smell Indian racialism and hatred then?
@Rana: How come Aamir Khan is not treated that way -That's because he does not behave the way SRK does. Every Indian respects Yusuf Khan (Dileep Kumar). The thing is there is a certain brashness in SRK (typically Delhi guy - I am too). We north Indians are a bit rough in our behavior. And Indian Punjabi, which is used in North India has fair sprinkling of expllecitives when spoken in anger.That is all there is to it. Religion has nothing to do with it. Delhi upbringing has everything to do with it.
@Rana @Azhar @Someone
What business he had to on the ground once the match was over and the presentations done with. Apparently he took 30 odd children including his daughter to play on the ground.That's against the rule for various reasons including protecting the pitch.It's not his private garden. I am no fan of Big B, but because you mentioned him let me tell you he is not a attention grabbing show-off as Sharukh is. Talk about bias against Muslims; Amir Khan, A R Rahman, Javed Akhtar and scores of others belong to the same industry and highly respected. As for My Name is Khan, no he did not make it (acted only).It was produced and directed by his best friend Karan Johar (a hindu). Lastly I have nothing against Sharukh as a person, in fact I actually like his secular credentials. My problem is with his misplaced sense of superiority over others which he displays with great pomposity.
@Niño: Why are you upset? Pak people always bring religion into everything. They don't search for other solution. Anything goes wrong bring the religion. Mullah factory is result of this. We don't have to worry about it. Let they live in their dreams.
@someone: Unable to diffrentiate the truth from the lies. If it was so difficult for Muslims in India. Why do you think he was allowed to purchase the team at the first place. You owe me/us an explaination for such senseless response. Unable to see/diffrentiate the good, the bad and the evil,is what is keeping pakistanis from being abrest with rest of the world community members. Untill and Unless one accepts his mistake, he cannot correct himself. You can keep on playing the victim card all the time/every time.... wake up and smell the coffee... Rgds P
@Whats in the name: Perhaps we are not discussing number of his movies here, but discriminatory behavior of Indian Media and BCCI. Speaking honestly and impartially put his ONLY 50 movies to one side of the weighing scale and rest to the other side you will see the difference, provided you brush aside your habitual hatred!!!
@Rana: It is ridiculous to state that SRK is a victim of "racialism" (whatever that means to you) by the media and BCCI. Most people believe he gets too much attention from the media and has been pampered by the BCCI for allowing him to co-own an IPL team which is usually the preserve of billionaires. He is just an actor who has been punching way beyond his weight.
As far as SRK pulling bollywood out of lungi era, he is just an actor who plays a character in a movie as his filmmaker tells him to. It is the filmmakers ie the studio bosses who decide the fate of Bollywood not a nautanki!!!!
@pakistanibaloch: You surely did...
yes the ccctv footage are wrong, the eyewitnesses are wrong. he was drunk and this is not offending proud muslims here but his lenient sentence is causing big trouble to you all.
@Rana:"SRK contributed more than any one else pulling Indian film industry out of LUNGI era" How insensitve statement can it be. He has hardly done 50 movies. And you say he has brought it out of the lungi era. What about others contributions like the story writers, script writers, producers, and very many others. Its an insult to the film freternity. Remember no body is bigger than the cause itself. If he can single handendly do it, then let us experiment to bring the truth out. Let him act in pakistani films and we will see after few years if pakistani film industry will be a shining becon. Rhink before you ink something
being a muslim (even if by name only) puts SRK in a weak position in India. Plus since he made 'My Name is Khan' movie which tried to explain that muslims can be practicing without being terrorists, the bollywood fraternity (who are arch enemies of practicing muslims) and other sections of the indian society started hating him even more. In india its a big crime to be a muslim and an even bigger crime to support muslims and be a practicing muslim.
I concur wuth your statement , Mr. Rana .
@Rana: True that!
SRK has to face this due to racialism of Indian media and BCCI. Imagine if the same thing happened to Big B, the news may be like this, “Due to misbehavior with legendary & iconic Big B, MCA officials have fired head of security, and later MCA officials apologizes Big B!!!!
SRK contributed more than any one else pulling Indian film industry out of LUNGI era.

Why dont BCCI show same guts to punishing match fixers..
who cares !!!!
Some people age gracefully, SRK ages disgracefully
