Tug of war: King Gym Club clinch championship

PESHAWAR: King Gym Club clinched the Peshawar District Inter-Club Tug-of-War Championship after defeating a strong Faqirabad Club outfit 2-1 in the final played at historical Shahi Bagh. A total of eight clubs took part in the event. In the third-place playoff, Shahi Bagh XI beat Nangalia club. Meanwhile, the winners were awarded Rs4,000 and the runners-up were given Rs3,000. Shahi Bagh XI got Rs2,000.
