Nurse rape case investigation concludes

KARACHI: Police completed their investigation of the rape of a student nurse of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Karachi, and have submitted the final challan in the court.

The main accused, former Jinnah Hospital medico-legal officer Dr Abdul Jabbar Memon, was presented before the court on Tuesday. The investigation report suggests that Memon had raped the nurse and pushed her out of the window from his apartment.

However, the court was informed that the final DNA report was still due.

The court will indict the accused on the 24th of August.

Abdul Aleem | 14 years ago | Reply The govt and even Presdient.Zardari instructed to the authority to see the case at special basis , why they delaying for court punishment. For such case a special tribunal required who took decission in a max 30 days period. The time frame if further extends for the case the witnesses and victim will be less attentive to get their justification. Plz make a special court for such incident/ cases for immediate punishments.
