PESHAWAR: With over a dozen stalls depicting the culture, food and various traditions of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), a day-long cultural and creativity festival was held at the University of Peshawar’s on Tuesday. The event was organised by the university’s department of psychology. Vice-Chancellor Qibla Ayaz said that due to the prevailing law and order situation and terrorism in K-P and Fata, people are under tremendous mental stress. He added that in such situation the role of psychologists becomes very important because they can help solve much of their fears through counselling and help them build on the positive aspects of their traits. “Culture is the representative tool and true reflection of any society and we must promote it,” he added.
