Red crescent society: Appointment by governor set aside

Bashir and the six members of the society’s managing committee had already been suspended.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday set aside seven appointments made by the governor to the Punjab Red Crescent Society. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah restored Mian Muhammad Hanif, the terminated chairman, to the post, setting aside Zahid BAshir’s appointment as the society chairman. Bashir and the six members of the society’s managing committee had already been suspended.
