Bridge: Khaled, Puri seal the title

KARACHI: The pair of Khaled Mohiuddin and Mubashir Puri clinched the Karachi Gymkhana Summer Pairs Bridge Tournament by accumulating 59.4 per cent at KG Bridge Hall. They scored an average of 62 per cent, having led three out of four sessions in their section. The veteran pair of Saleem Zaki and Ghulam Mohiuddin finished second by scoring 56.2 per cent. However, their effort fell short as the winning pair past the post conveniently with much to spare. Meanwhile, Masud Mazhar pairing with Tanvir Mazahir stood third scoring 54.2 per cent.
