Better benefits: FUAAST increases PhD allowance to Ra10,000

KARACHI:

Federal Urdu University of Arts and Sciences (FUAAST) has increased the monthly allowance of PhD teachers from Rs7,500 to Rs10,000.

This allowance has also been added to the pensions of retired teachers. This was decided in the meeting of the university syndicate on Sunday.

During the meeting, the dean of faculty of law, Justice (retd) Dr Ghaus Mohammad presented a report about the issues faced by the law faculty.
