"Today we are not only able to hit Tel Aviv as a city but, God willing, we are able to hit specific targets in Tel Aviv and anywhere in occupied Palestine," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised address.
For every building destroyed in Dahiya, a building will be destroyed in Tel Aviv," he said, referring to Hezbollah's stronghold in a suburb of southern Beirut.
Nasrallah's comments were some of his harshest words against Israel in several months, and came amid rising tensions between Israel and Hezbollah's main backer, Iran.
Israel argues Iran's nuclear enrichment project is being used to make an atomic bomb and has warned it could launch a strike to stop Tehran. Iran says its nuclear programme is for civilian purposes.
Hezbollah has long been seen as a proxy for Iran and Syria and many analysts believe that in the event of an Israeli attack on Iran, Hezbollah could return fire.
"The days when we were forced from our homes and they were not forced from theirs are over," Nasrallah said, to cheers from a crowd of supporters watching his speech.
"The days when we were afraid and they were not are over," he said. "And we say to them: The time has come when we will remain and you will be the ones who disappear."
Hezbollah is both a powerful political party and militant group in Lebanon and fought a war with Israel in 2006. The group claimed it won a victory even though Lebanon suffered high casualties and many areas were heavily bombed.
Nasrallah was speaking at an event to mark the completion of Hezbollah's renovation projects for neighbourhoods in southern Beirut that were damaged by Israeli bombing in the 2006 war.

@what name?: They are living in the fool paradise.
It's just too bad such speeches make it very hard for many nations to not take Israel's side if such attacks start to occur. He effectively just ruined his chances at a completely isolated battle between the two. Had he kept his loud mouth shut it might not be so. But, he didn't, so it no longer matters that they can hit any area. Once they do, nobody will have to guess and their capabilities are automatically lessened.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah addresses his supporters only via video-link. He said the well trained Hezbollah fighters were ready to die and would never give up their arms. He has hardly been seen in public since Hezbollah's 34-day war with Israel in 2006. He knows that the Israeli Mossad agents would love to assassinate him, as they did his predecessor.
Arab kings can only live in luxury and protest against Israel atrocities...@ khan we are comparing Israel power with Hezbollah so you can better tell your self. Israel is the leader in warfare technology in word.......and the war fought in 2006 is example .
After 65 years they still cant hit Israel effectively... that's shameful and shows how totally " defunct of ideas" the armies of Arab kings are in 2012
Hazbollah has increased its power many fold with the help of Iran. If you doubt that, read any Israeli report!
Surely it is power of words and media is just jeopardizing it...because we all are well aware of Israel strength being a regional player and even as International power. Only a united Muslim front can compete this nation. Buhh we are divided in sects so......!!!
“The days when we were forced from our homes and they were not forced from theirs are over,”
Said the man giving his speeches from a hidden bunker ... hmmm ... anyone else see the irony here?
