FIA gets a new Director General amid high profile shuffle
Lak, as secretary of Ministry of Narcotics had oversight in the investigations of MNA Ali Musa Gilani in connection with the Ephedrine case even as the Anti-Narcotics Force once again bound Musa to appear before the investigation team on Saturday, sources said.
A notification has been issued on Friday by the Establishment Division.

Zafar Abbas Lak is just doing his job n not protecting anyone...he is an honest officer.... He was DIG in 2005 and his close relatives like Ch Shujaat n Pervaiz Elahi were in govt but he wasn't promoted as AIG and he also didn't tried to get promotion even having all powers, reference, authorities in his hand.....his juniors became AIG as well as IG but he got promotion after 7 years....its his honesty.....Try to use your mind before speaking anything for anyone.....everybody is not corrupt who is involved in Ppp govt......No one refuses his promotion especially after 7 years..... Don't b Lakeer k Fakeer.....
It is being waiste of time.Nothing is going to be changed. For the betterment of the country and nation Government and Institutions must develop understanding.At present all are playing a game of powers in their hands.But one by one can do nothing.
The PM is the best candidate to be charged for treason. Once he is then we will discover all the hanky panky that has been going on. Until then he is, well what I can say??
The present government been doing hanky-panky from day one. If Zafar Abbas Lak has been transferred some other apple of the eye of Gilani will be apointed who will be doing all sorts of favor.
Mubarak Ho, neither Zafar Abbas Lak was suspended nor dismissed from the job.
What PM will do if Supreme Court of Pakistan will ask FIA to investigate the case of PM's son and MNA Ali Musa Gilani.
Probably Zafar Abbas Lak will be transferred again to some other department from FIA.
He will give a clean bill of health to Musa Gillani, Abdul Qadir, and the rest.
