Squash: Atlas sails into junior event’s semis
Top-seed Danish Atlas of PAF sailed into the semi-finals of the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) National Junior Open.

Top-seed Danish Atlas of PAF sailed into the semi-finals of the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) National Junior Open by defeating K-P’s Faraz Mohammad 3-0 in the U19 match at the Hashim Khan Squash Complex in Peshawar. Army’s Bilal Zakir defeated K-P’s Noman Shahid 3-0 as well. In the U17 category, age-group, Muneer Zaman – son of former champion Qamar Zaman – defeated Mahmood Mehboob 3-1 while favourite Asim Khan, representing Punjab, survived a scare but managed to beat PAF’s Zeeshan Shokat 3-2. Punjab’s Kashif Asif won 3-0 against K-P’s Ali Karamat while Iqtedar Khan of K-P defeated Amir Khan 3-2 in the U15 quarter-finals.
