KARACHI:

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has invited political and nationalist parties, civil society and human rights organisations and members of the legal community to attend a conference here on May 12.

A JI spokesman said that the agenda of the conference includes discussing the events that took place on May 12, 2007, as well as the continuation of target killings in the Karachi. Various politicians, including Mian Raza Rabbani, Mushahdullah Khan, Mushahid Hussain, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Nadir Akmal Laghari and Shahi Syed, among others, have already been invited.
