Several outsiders barged into the college after students, belonging to political parties, were barred from cheating during their exam.
The miscreants tortured several teachers and broke furniture of the college. They threatened staff with serious consequences if the students were not allowed to cheat.
In protest, the administration of the college refused to take the commerce exam due to be held in the afternoon. According to the Karachi board, the afternoon exam will be held at the board office.
Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association President Muzaffar Rizvi announced that the teachers will boycott all intermediate papers being taken tomorrow.
The teachers demanded that they be provided with adequate security during examinations.

Kudos to APMSO and PkSF for their good work. Their leaders are doing a good community servicing why they are left behind !!!
I agree with S.F. Ali. We should be truthful without bais to areas. We are Muslim. Any impurity in our deeds will be equivalent to Haram. We should get education to Learn and not to get degree. We should get education to become good Human Beings, Good Muslims and Good Pakistanis.
The quality of examination can only be improved if the examination is taken in one location. It might sound impossible but this is already happening for B.Com/BA/BSC. This would improve the vigilance, cheating issue could be resolved and would also cost less than the decentralized method
And this is exactly why politics should be banned from all education institutes, especially up to secondary level. Student parties are essentially junior mafias.
And where were the police? Can you imagine this taking place in any other country?
Why even perform this circus. Just distribute "Jaali Degree" to them and be done away with it. Simple!
@Khurram: That is why Karachi have the highest literacy rate in all over country. I am not saying that go search it yourself, you will find local and international reports and article on that. So my dear friend don't fight on these "CHOTI CHOTI" things. We all have to grow up and be united as we all are brothers (Muslims & Pakistani) not just karachian, lahori ......
@Chilli: Sorry to say But i got my whole education from North Punjab and never ever in my life I had a chance to cheat during federal exams. So At least in North Punjab I am sure cheating is forbidden as a greater whole and that is why they succeed at university level more than anyone else from other provinces of Pakistan.
Where are the spokesmen of PARHI LIKHI Party now, this show how they got their degrees and became pHDs
