Pakistan rejects Indian accusation of Kashmir violence

Pakistan brushed aside the allegation leveled by Indian Interior Minister Chidambaram on Monday.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan, brushing aside the allegation leveled by Indian Interior Minister Chidambaram that it is fanning violence in occupied Kashmir, reiterated its resolve to continue to extending diplomatic, political and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued here Monday, foreign office spokesman Abdul Basit said that the statement given by Indian interior minister was against facts and had no substance. India was insulting the legal and constitutional struggle being waged by the people of occupied Kashmir for their right to self determination by indulging in blame game, he said.

It was evident from the statement of Chidambaram that India was not sincere in resolution of Kashmir issue and did not want to address the Kashmir issue, he added.

Do they need any better prove of an indigenous Kashmiri insurrection against the Indian occupation? Where is the 'squirrel faced Indian Prime minister' Mr. Manmohan Singh now? He should first set his own house in order before point a finger at Pakistan. He and his law enforcing agencies try to domesticate the Kashmiris against their will.

Learn diplomacy, we need to respond their accusation logically but in a shortest possible way to make the already disturbed Chidambaram more frustrated. Its a subtle response from Pak foreign office that has succesfully conveyed Pak's official stance on Kashmir.
