CID's BLA weapons proliferators were abducted from Quetta in January 2012: VFBMP
On Monday, Central Investigation Department (CID) Senior Superintendent Police Chaudhry Alsam had presented Abdul Ghaffar Bugti, Faisal Bugti, and Shamsuddin Bugti, before the media after having allegedly arrested them from Sher Shah area of Karachi. The police claimed that they had also recovered nine rockets and 550 rounds of ammunition from their possession, which they intended to provide criminals operating in Lyari.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VFBMP), an organisation striving for the recovery of missing Baloch persons, said that the three suspects which police claimed to have during the Lyari operation were missing persons and had been whisked away near University of Balochistan in mid of January 2012.
According to VFBMP, the names of these men had been included in a list of 60 missing persons which had been submitted to the Supreme Court at its last hearing on missing persons in, held in Quetta last week.
“They were enrolled at University of Balochistan and were picked up in front of the varsity. The relatives recorded the statements before the Supreme Court Treasury Bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary,” said VFBMP chairman Nasrullah Baloch.
He said that the arrest of these three people appeared to be staged since the Chief Justice has already directed police to submit a progress report on the recovery of the men within two weeks. “They belonged to the Bugti tribe and were students. Instead of producing them before the Supreme Court, the authorities concerned have presented them before SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam, and in-charge of Lyari operation.”
According to the relatives, the three men had been abducted from Quetta. However, they refused to provide any further statements.
Nasrullah Baloch quoting the relatives said the family had also filed a constitutional petition in Balochistan High Court for their recovery.
Earlier in the day, Jamhoori Watan Party provincial chief Shahzain Bugti too had claimed the three were not part of the BLA but were students and had been abducted on January 18 from Quetta.

Looking at the actions of the Pakistani security agencies and the comments ignorant pakistanis, I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing in Pakistan for the Baloch people but misery.
@Zafar and @SK. Salman: You don't need to be sarcastic you just need to go and have a look at the graduate students in universities like Karachi University, Quid e Azam University, LUMS, GIKI etc.
Graduate studies can always be started at any stage of one's life and then these images are produced by the security agencies themselves and you can't imagine how much they have been tortured before taking these images. Imagine yourself being put to severe tortures for a few months with these beards you will get an idea if you are sensible enough.
If your forefathers haven't told you then let me tell you that your security forces killed 3 million people in Bangladesh.
InshaAllah this case will prove itself in the court if the courts are really free and impartial in Pakistan.

Had respect for Choudry Aslam when his house was bombed and he said I'd do everything to eradicate terrorism. Have lost all respect for him, since he is the creme of the crop of this 'CID' department and indulges in these sorts of misrepresenting, wrongful implicating activities. @ Hammad Rahim and Asif Khan and ANYONE ELSE who agrees with them! they were committing terrorism in Karachi, they were kidnapped long time ago and then framed for this crime....the biggest problem with Pakistan is that NO ONE ever realizes their mistakes, till now we have not learnt from past. This discrimination against balochis has torn this country into pieces.
All the NGO's raising hue and cry about the missing persons of balochistan should come out now and apologise to the govt. These ''missing persons'' were infact committing terrorist acts in karachi while their families were crying infront of tv cameras and infront of the court.
So the missing persons were infact doing terrorism in karachi,now what about all the talkshows done criticising the disappearance of these people?
