Lorry Adda: Burning body found near Bus Stand

LAHORE: The burning body of a young man was found near the General Bus Stand here on Tuesday. Lorry Adda police said that the man, aged between 25 and 30, had likely been killed elsewhere then dumped between some buses. The body had been doused with some inflammable material and then set ablaze. It lay uncovered near a garbage container and the hands and feet were tied with rope, witnesses told the police. The face of the victim was still recognisable, police officials said, but he had not yet been identified. There was bruising around the victim’s neck indicating he was strangled. The police said that no one had reported seeing the body being dumped, which was surprising since it had been found in a very busy area.
