QUETTA:
Police officials on Sunday foiled a terrorist bid to detonate explosives in the Quetta-Chaman passenger train at the Chaman railway station in Qila Abdullah district. According to police officials, while searching the train, officials recovered 20 kg of explosives stashed away in a plastic bag in one of the compartments. The train was bound to depart for Quetta after an hour. “It could have led to a huge disaster if the terrorist plan had succeeded,” asserted an official.
