Clash: Inmates try to chop off prisoner’s nose
A prisoner was wounded in District Jail Mansehra on Sunday afternoon when two inmates attempt to chop off his nose during a clash.
According to the jail administration, Saiful Maluk and Noor Muhammad, who are serving time for murder, reportedly exchanged harsh words with Shaukat Hayat, after which they attacked him with a sharp object.
Hayat was admitted to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital for surgery. The doctors said that his injuries are treatable through proper medical care.
