Hearing the case at the Supreme Court’s Quetta registry, the chief justice said that the court wanted the matter to be resolved peacefully but now it will issue orders.
Chief Justice Chaudhry ordered the Inspector General of Police to present the lawyer who went missing from Khuzdar, Muneer Meerwani and a doctor who went missing from Saryab, Dr Akbar, within two weeks.
The chief justice enquired from the deputy attorney general as to where the regional supervisors of the intelligence agencies were and said that they should have been present during the hearing. He said that when the IG can come to the court then they, too, should.
He also remarked that the advocate general should save the fire which has inflicted the whole province.
3 more missing persons reunite with family
Three out of the seven people who went missing from the Marwar area of Quetta three weeks back reached home late Thursday night.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons spokesman Nasrullah Baloch confirmed that Mohammad Kareem, Doha Khan and Safar Khan reached home.
All three people were expected to be presented in court today.

@Super-Fool KaalCopterTanoli: What????????
@Super-Fool KaalCopterTanoli: So, it is not the responsibility of civilian Govt to keep law and order.
@dv sikka: It's not the civilian government that enforces any laws. They may come up with new ones or reasons to get rid of old ones and make it so, but it's still the judiciary's responsibility
Why enforcing the Rule of Law is the job of the SC. What is role of Zardari government ?. Does Pakistan need them.
"He said that when the IG can come to the court then they, too, should."
But they didn't. How about issuing a contempt notice?
I congratulate the chief justice for giving some redress to the individuals and families who are abducted, toutured and often killed with impunity in extra judicial exercise by agencies. However whats disturbing is the chief justice continues to use the word 'missing persons' to describe this phenomenon of brutal abuse of basic human rights often leading to murder.
Criminal or innocent this isn't the way of justice, they must be given chance for fair trial, kidnapping and displacing them away from loved once is very cruel crime, majors and colonels involved should be punished!
@A J Khan: Even if one is terrorist, doesn't makes sense to kidnap them or kill them without trial..does it?
Why does ET not report on why and who was responsible for these acts.
I hope these terrorists would be taken to task by the courts other wise Lyari like situations will keep errupting. Regretfully some electronic channels promote their voilence and firefights as some thing legal
