Resolution against Gilani: PPP lawyers create ruckus in Rawalpindi District Court
The altercation started in Quaid-e-Azam Hall of the Rawalpindi District Court after the naat and recitation of the Holy Quran, when the PPP lawyers stood up and started chanting slogans against the resolution.
The PPP lawyers also raised slogans against Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The session was summoned in the light of the Supreme Court’s verdict in the contempt case against Gilani by the president and secretary of the RDBA.
The lawyers split into two groups, with PPP lawyers on one side and lawyers from Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on the other. A brawl also started between both groups.
The PPP lawyers demanded that a resolution of this nature was uncalled for and that it was too early to draw conclusions and a detailed judgement was not out yet.
Express News correspondent Qaiser Sherazi reported that the RDBA president, PML-N’s Sajid Ilyas Bhatti secluded himself from the scuffle.
The session was summoned because PML-N and PTI lawyers had demanded that the resolution be moved and that a new prime minister be appointed should replace Gilani.

Judges wake up from dreams of ruling the country.
Lawyers in Pakistan tend to behave like Judges. Does Bar council care to implements its code of ethics? How can Lawyers raise slogans against CJ openly? CJ should take note and suspend such lawyers from appearing in courts.
Mr. Chief Justice, PLEASE WAKE-UP. Why is teh SC not issuing the detailed order??? This is very sad and confusing.

Do these lawyers receive electricity all through 24 hours? Are their kids safe in current law n order situation? Can they afford a good lifestyle with recent inflation? Is their future bright with pak getting near to a failed state?

It's no wonder nothing gets done. The people should be getting irritated and I'm not talking about the Gilani topic itself. It's just a good example. They spend more time boycotting their jobs than actually doing them. People should stop supporting this crap. Tell them to do it after crucial meetings on their own time. Not the peoples time. They're only using the people as a representation of them wanting to look like the "good guys." They simply have grudges and want to score points.
