First raid: Women police arrest wanted man

MULTAN: A woman’s police team raided a house on Wednesday and arrested a man wanted for murder.

The team was supervised by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shahida Nasreen and arrested one Muhammad Abbas son of Muhammad Ishfaq. The arrested man carried a Rs400,000 head money. Police said that Abbas was wanted for killing five people, including two policemen, in Vehrai a few months ago. They said he had also been named in 15 murder cases in Vehari district. They said there were robbery charges against him in several police stations in the city. City Police Officer Amir Zulfiqar Khan appreciated the effort of the them.
