Football: Punjab, Army to play quarters
KARACHI: Punjab and Army were involved in a stalemate but managed to reach the quarter-finals of the National Under-22 Football Championship. Sindh and National Youth Team drew 1-1 to book their places in the last-eight as well. Muhammad Sohaib scored for Sindh in the 19th minute while Youth’s Riaz Khan equalised 30 seconds later. PMC Athletico and KPT qualified from group A, while Youth and Sindh qualified from group B. Similarly, Punjab and Army topped group C and Muslim FC and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will play the quarter-finals from group D.
