KARACHI: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in their second group match at the 16th Asian Team Championship in Kuwait. Pakistan had earlier thumped China 3-0. Farhan Mehboob was rested against the islanders keeping in mind the second late match of the day against the hosts. Farhan Zaman overpowered Thilakalatha 11-1, 11-7, 11-8, Nasir Iqbal initially faced problems but then defeated Gihan Suwaris 14-12, 11-5, 11-5 and Sheikh Saqib Yousuf beat Dilshan Gunawardena 11-1, 11-6 and 11-6.
