Bombs target ATMs, bank branches across Sindh
The bombs had targeted bank branches and ATMs in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Dadu, Larkana, Kotri, and Badin.
Unknown assailants targeted seven branches of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in Sukkur, Ranipur, Dadu, Dokri, Nawabshah and two branches in Larkana.
The two branches in Larkana located on Bakrani Road and VIP Road — were attacked by low-intensity bombs.
Senior Superintendent of Police Hyderabad Haseeb Afzal Baig said that at least 500gms of explosives were used in the bombs.
A watchman named Sammo sustained injuries when assailants hurled cracker bombs outside a local bank in Dokri.
Express News reported saying that at least 11 blasts occurred in Hyderabad.
The first blast was heard between 5:30-5:45am.
The explosives used in the cracker blasts throughout Sukkur, Larkana, Dokri weighed 6gms each.
No casualties were reported in the incidents, however, bank branches received damages.
An organisation named Sindhu Desh Liberation Army (SDLA) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Hyderabad City Aijaz Bhatti confirmed that the police found pamphlets belonging to the organisation near the banks targeted in Hyderabad.
Mirpur Mathelo railway track destroyed
Approximately 2.5 feet of a railway track in Ghotki district near Mirpur Mathelo was destroyed when attackers bombed it.
Jaffer Express was en route to Karachi on the same track. Villagers gathered on the track and signaled the train to stop and averted a possible accident.
Inspector Tahir of the Bomb Disposal Squad revealed that the explosives used in the device weighed about 8kgs and that it was a locally made remote-controlled device.
Cracker bomb explodes near KESC complaint office
Meanwhile, Unknown assailants hurled a cracker bomb near the complaint office of Karachi Electric Supply Company in Block 15 of the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
The traffic on the road was thin which prevented any casualties.

Everything that goes wrong in Pakistan is conveniently blamed by some on the US and foreign elements. The terrorists are the only ones who gain from such accusations. Terrorist groups have been creating havoc in Pakistan. We must pull ourselves out of the blame game and see that these terrorists are preventing us from achieving our common objectives. And anyone who thinks that Pakistan should not be involved in this WOT is simply bowing down to terrorism. We have seen that terrorists do not stop for anyone. Today the attacks are on banks and government institutions, causing only some injuries. But who know what happens tomorrow. It is in the interest of the United States of America to see a stable and vibrant Pakistan. We have always maintained that Pakistan is an important part of the region and that with its stability comes the stability of the region. The need of the hour is to combine our efforts like we have in the past, and squeeze the life out of the insurgency.

Bombardment by media on the people?
If we continue to talk about new provinces as our priority, this will be the most likely outcome. Instead of strengthening the federation, focusing on people issues, controlling internal security and improving our foreign policy, the priority of the Government seems to be completely lacking the vision that will lead us to be a united, strong, prosperous & peaceful Pakistan in times to come. As a patriotic Pakistani I can only hope & pray for a miracle to happen, that rids us of this highly incompetent and clueless PPP Government.
I dont think this party exist in Sindh. when there was Musharruff's rule and Sindh was under control of MQM and army, SDL was happy and did nothing in protest, no crackers even. I did not hear that name before. Yes that army is unhappy and MQM is unhappy suddenly this Sindhu desh libration become unhappy. Sindhi nation is very peaceful nation don't do such heinous act. The Sindhu Desh Liberation Army already carried out minor attacks previously, and all Sindhi nationalists have unanimously condemned such unconstitutional means of showing their dissent with the State-policy. They're a micro-bunch of thugs with a thoughtful anarchist perspective and an even more anarchist organization ; if rule of law was efficient in PPP's "democratically"-handled world, they wouldn't have lasted that long. The irony will be that the only demographics which will vote for PPP in the next general elections will probably be these Sindhis.

Sindh blasts are part of the larger conspiracy hatched by foreign forces to divide Pakistan into four parts. This was just a trailer, more is yet to come.

Pakistan army is being tested for their resolve. What they need is to keep their head cool, stay focused, and don't let such aggravated assaults to un-nerve them. However, the nation expects from them to find the culprits ASAP.

Pakistan has had a military dictator from Sindh ruling for over 8 years,then a president from Sindh for the last 4 years.Sindh has been in absolute control of pakistan's finances and power structure for over a decade now.It is the other provinces that have been discriminated against and kept out of power. This new militant group seems to be just fulfilling the plans of our neighbour. They have no justification for this kind of terrorism because it is Sindh that has been in control of pakistan's destiny for well over a decade now.
It is punjab that has been deprived of gas and electricity supplies for the last four years.Thousands of factories have had to close down and millions of workers laid off due to the federal government's deliberate persecution of punjab over the last four years.If anyone should be protesting it should be punjab.

Sixteen blasts across Sindh. This requires a lot of planning and resources. The fact that nobody got caught while planting these bomb tells that this is not the work of an ordinary outfit.... and might not be the first and last.

When our media will report on main page as headline that BOMBS explode at 7 places, Instead of crackers then everyone is gonna perceive us as terrorists.
