Expressing solidarity: Balochistan CM lends support to PM

Gilani thanked Raisani and his cabinet members for their solid support.

Balochistan Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani called on Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani at the PM House on Tuesday to express total solidarity with him, and highly appreciated the stand taken by him to firmly uphold the cause of the Constitution and democracy in the country. The chief minister and cabinet members said they had come from Quetta to Islamabad to show solidarity. They wanted to demonstrate their support to the premier in tangible terms, when democracy and the Constitution were being threatened, adding that the Gilani was constitutionally elected by the mandate of the people of the country. Gilani thanked Raisani and his cabinet members for their solid support. “I am proud of you the chief minister and your cabinet members,” Gilani, adding that “together we will solidity the edifice to democracy in the country and all dangers to democracy will be met and thwarted with determination.”
