Football: Balochistan, K-P draw in U22 event

KARACHI: Balochistan drew 2-2 against KPT while Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s match against DFA Bahawalpur ended 1-1 in the National Under-22 Football Championship. After a goalless first half, Balochistan’s Mohammad Riaz scored the opening goal but KPT’s Muhammad Khan levelled the tie two minutes later. Balochistan went back into the lead but Mohammad Arsalan ensured points were shared with his 86th-minute strike. Balochistan are now in second position in group A with four points as PMC Athletic lead with six points. Meanwhile, in group D, Khyber-Pahtunkhwa took the lead with Mohammad Tariq’s goal, which was equalised by Bahawalpur’s Zeeshan Mujahid. Bahawalpur are leading group D with six points while Muslim FC are following them on the second position with four.
