British PM 'deeply saddened' by death of abducted aid worker in Quetta
Cameron said he "was deeply saddened" to hear about the death of Khalil Dale, and accused the attackers of having "no respect for human life and the rule of law."
"This was a shocking and merciless act," added the leader.
"Khalil Dale has dedicated many years of his life to helping some of the most vulnerable people in the world and my thoughts today are with his friends and family," he said in a statement.
London had tried tirelessly to secure the release of the 60-year-old since his kidnapping in Baluchistan province in January, British Foreign Secretary William Hague said in an earlier statement.
"This was a senseless and cruel act, targeting someone whose role was to help the people of Pakistan, and causing immeasurable pain to those who knew Mr Dale," said Hague.
The Red Cross announced earlier Sunday that Dale, a health programme manager, had been found dead in Quetta, Pakistan, four months after he was abducted by armed men.

@Hedgefunder: Dear Hedgefunder, Which actual statistic is bothering you in regard to the childish Donnybrook started by America, and is it that important?. The reason I am asking is that President Obama has made a complex situation even more complex by deciding he wants stay in Afghanistan until 2024. Can you imagine? We will have to put up with drones and other psychopathic American mischief, virtually forever. We know the Afghanistan Government will go along with Obama, because America selected all the Reps, and called it democracy.

@Hedgefunder: It is quite obvious that America has let the Genie out of the bottle, and does not have any new strategies which will solve the problem. The bottom line is that 5,000 hill-billies have kept the best equipped army in the world at bay for eleven years now with no end in site, and the only tactic the West has been good at is blowing up more innocent Pakistan people than 9/11 with drones.

It is dire need of the time, local people be organized and provided them assistance,armed them with weapon and money for their families, The strategy,has already been adopted has failed it needs new option be adopted to facing the insurgency.

Look at what happened to this poor aid worker from Red Cross who was only trying to help. Look at what is going on in Karachi, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, FATA. YEt people were upset when Bangladeshi team refused to tour due to security reasons.
Just imagine what kind of image we are sending abroad. Still we claim to be hospitable people and that our country is safe. If we cant even spare the Red Cross who were just here to help us, then how can we claim it is safe to live here and visit us. Were we hospitable to Daniel Pearl, or Peter Stanczak (polish engineer), or the Chinese engineers or to the Swiss couple kidnapped in Balochistan. If we cant treat others well then don't expect it from them as well.
@Hedgefunder: Dear Hedgefunder, Promises, promises. Everywhere the U.S./NATO war criminals go a lot of people die. The estimate for the last ten years is several million dead, and an untold number either wounded or their houses and infrastructure destroyed. We can only hope that stopping AID PROGRAMS will be accompanied by a withdrawal of all U.S./NATO troops. However, I will not hold my breath waiting.

You do realize that more Muslims the world over have been killed than in this "dirty war". If you read what OBL was writing before his death, he was very concerned that his brand of terrorists were being hurt by this fact. They were killing Muslims around the world. At least he was not unaware of this fact.
Its time to put an end to any future Aid programs to this country !
I wonder if Mr. Cameron was shocked and saddened when his RAF bombers recently carpet bombed Libya and killed a few hundred thousand Libyans, and destroyed the survivors infrastructure?
and what about countless Pakistanis being killed by them in this dirty war ?
