LAHORE: Mohammad Habibur Rehman, the Inspector General of Punjab Police, on Thursday forwarded a summary, regarding the promotion of six DSPs to SPs, to the Punjab government for approval. The IGP had been instructed by the Lahore High Court to do so. The decision was taken after the promotion board met at the Central Police Office. The officers who were recommended for promotion are Naseem Chaudhry, Javaid Iqbal, Shahid Raza Qureshi, Masroor Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad Bhalli and Kifayatullah Bajwa.
