Aren't these the same people that protested when Musharraf sacked CJ Chaudry Iftikhar?
The so-called stakeholders of karachi , MQM , PPP and ANP are destroying this beautiful city. They have a plan to make karachi as a Beirut of 1980's.
The state is crumbling in parts and in whole. We are sliding into Yemen-Somali category. Army is betting on Afghanistan, the rich are rushing to bet in Mumbai stock exchange. Both are hanging by their economic privileges with no attendant political responsibility. Power devolves on hundred centers and credit in external markets vanished for all practical purposes. With no big business to instill some political sense ,with educated middle class in minority , petty business and rural ignorance is feeding the flames of religious reaction . Wake up Pakistan! Throw away the burden of religion that paralysed you politically and reinvent yourself as republic of toiling masses !
In Pakistan, gun is more supreme than law.
In order words, might is right.
@M. Ahmed: wow MQM taking over the policing the situation will become worse and bhatta khori will prevail.
Sindh Police and Pakistan Rangers are a burden on the tax payers of Karachi. MQM should take over policing in Karachi. Self-governance is the answer. Why should individuals from others areas rule over Karachites? The problem will be solved. Karachities know Karachi better than anyone else.
No pleading and urging has moved the civil administration. They have not shown any compassion at all.
This has become the norm as if nothing ever will change this trend of killing and slaughtring the innocent citizens of karachi mercilessly by ruthless and barbaric attackers and there is this attitude of law enforecement agencies that they are doing enough; no you are not doing enough, wake up for God's Sake, Please and save the citizens life and property from these inhuman beasts. I live in Malir and there are these Makrani baloch thugs and other looters who carry Kalashikovs, TTs and other such ammunition just to terrorise innocent people. Every now and then police is being informed about these attrocities but they as always; trun a deaf ear to all these incidents. It looks as if we are living in a society which is more worse then societies in African States like Liberia, Sudan, Somalia, uganda, Congo etc. Karachi(how should I explain it) has become the worse metropolitan in terms of security and is almost at the mercy of usurpurs, dacoits, looters, land-grabbers and target killers. I request all you who are power please do something about this grave situation or else the day is near when people will decide your fate forever. Have mercy on yourself.
Proving Democracy is indeed the "Best Revenege" against the poor helpless & beseiged Citizens!
The innocent citizens of karachi are seeing a physical demonstration of democracy is the best revenge.
