Mysterious murders: Three decomposed bodies recovered from a house

RAWALPINDI: Three members of a family were found dead and another unconscious in their home in Satellite Town on Sunday.

The decomposed bodies of Tariq Mehmood, 55, his wife Tabasum Tariq, 45, and his son Saad Tariq, 19, were recovered from a house in New Katarian, by Rescue 1122 and the Satellite Town police.

Mehmood’s second son, 22-year-old Waqas Tariq, was found lying bloody and unconscious in one of the rooms of the rented house.

The police broke into the house after being informed by Mehmood’s brother-in-law, Satellite Town police Inspector Malik Rafaqat told The Express Tribune.

He said that Waqas has regained consciousness but cannot recall anything related to his family’s killing.

“All he remembers is being hit on the head by a blunt object,” the inspector said. Rafaqat said Waqas is being interrogated, while neighbours and nearby relatives will be inquired to probe the case.

The inspector said that the victim’s appear to have been dead for around six days, adding that they appear to have died of stab wounds.

He said that the cause and time of death will be clear after the post-mortem.

The inspector said the murders appear to be a result of personal enmity as nothing seems to be missing from the house.

Neighbours:::: uffff, they already have left their home and disapperear after recovery of bodies and opening of the case, may be due to risk of interogation, dats ok every one thinks of his safe side, but police didnt made any inquiry from them thats amazing face, why they only held deceased's son, why not neighbours, If we even walk in that house the neighbours can hear the foot steps, and this much big event happened, they didnt heard any shout, any sound of resisting... nothingggg???/
