Cigarrette Loan: Trader beaten for seeking payment
A shopkeeper in Dijkot was beaten up when he asked some debtors to pay up.

A shopkeeper in Dijkot was beaten up on Saturday when he asked some debtors to pay up. Police said Shahzad, who is physically impaired, runs a grocery store in Chak 274-RB. Tariq, Hamid and Sabir used to borrow cigarettes from his shop. When he demanded payment on Saturday, they first beat him up and later fired some bullets at him. One of the bullets hit an electricity wire which broke and fell on to two buffaloes who suffered a severe electric shock. The boys also beat up Shahzad’s brother, Dr Maqsood.
