FAISALABAD: A woman died in District Jail on Saturday due to kidney failure. Delsi, 36, a citizen of Zambia, was arrested on November 4, 2011 by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for allegedly carrying heroin capsules in her stomach. Fareeha, incharge of women prisoners at the jail, said that she had been sick since she was brought to the jail last November. “Around 25 days ago, her condition got worse and she started vomiting so we took her to the DHQ hospital,” she said.
