QUETTA:
A legal adviser of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP)’s provincial president Nawabzada Shazain Bugti was kidnapped in Quetta on Friday.
According to police, the lawyer, identified as Mukesh Kholi, was intercepted in Satellite Town by unknown people who took him away at gunpoint. Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) and United Lawyer Panel (ULP) boycotted court proceedings soon after the incident.
They condemned the kidnapping of their colleague and announced that they will intensify their protest and extend it to the whole country if the lawyer was not rescued immediately.
Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has taken notice of the kidnapping and ordered law enforcement agencies to ensure his safe and immediate recovery.
Addressing a news conference, Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti, President of the JWP, has demanded immediate resignation of the provincial government. He asked the government to recover the lawyer within 48 hours or face agitation from his party as well as others.

Wish the lawyer was female, at-least he will survive that way albeit converted to Islam and married to a man who has 3 wives.
Very bad! The people of Pakistan have no say in what is happening in their country. I want to ask ET one question-do the politicians and ISI see and act on any of the comments which appear here?The lawyer happens to be a Hindu. The Hindus are being converted, kidnapped and the country is ethnically cleansed. Every one around the world can see what is the future of the country.
he himself might be involve in kidnapping
I am a Punjabi but I feel sad when i see the situation like this with our Baloch brothers. It is high time to get out of the cloak of so called Patriotism and the same policies which we applied in Bangladesh to make them Pakistanis are now repeated in Balochistan by our so called patriotic people. GIve people respect and honor and give them recognition and then they will be with you otherwise there is not any need for Baloch to live with Pakistan. The things changed for me when my mentor Saba Dashtiari was killed in recent months on the name of Patriotism by our not so brave people. If an intellectual like Saba Dashtiari could be killed who just want Baloch culture to be recognized then what we can expect of others.
Very informative people are on this forum ... who know who has kidnaped tha lawyer and why. I pity these bunch of losers who sitting in their drawing rooms spell out the culprits while thinking about what they will eat in the lucnh. GROW UP.
ISI has most likely taken him and no matter what Talal Bugti says, no one has, or ever will listen to him.
@Mirza
LOL.
Now people are more aware. Even Musharraf will blame India. Don't u remember his latest saying that foreigners are involved in Balochistan.
Just like some including Gen Mush suggested that Akbar Bugti killed himself, now this lawyer must have kidnapped himself. The atrocities in Balochistan continue at an accelerated pace. Despite all the populist statements by the judges not a single order has been written against those "who the SC CJ himself has called killers and arsonists". Where are the court orders against the abductions, kidnappings and killings of innocent civilians?
Love for all hatred for none is the only way forward for Pakistan - this has to be adopted irrespective of religion,sect,social standing or ethnic group
