At first I couldn't sleep because of both Siachen and Bhoja. Then I realized that the black plague and even the Japanese earthquake was far more devastating. Our country has been blessed to be safe from great disasters. Even America lost millions in the 1916 flu.
We are discouraged by slight matters in the long term view. You just move on and fix the problems. That is the best way to honer the dead in all such tragedies. So don't be depressed and just keep moving forward. It happens, unfortunate as it is.

My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. It is indeed a great tragedy. Sad for the people who lost their lives. It is time for sympathy and support. I am sure experts will find the root cause of the crash.
No forgiveness for these crooks who run this airline. The top management must be punished severely. Ten years hard labour and size all their assets. Pakistan is becoming a joke.
RIP. I hope that investigations take place and whoever is responsible for this, will be tried in the court of law.

Just terrible. My heart goes to the victim families. Its not only their loss but ours as well. So many brothers. sisters. mothers, fathers, sons and daughters died..all due to the incompetence of a few people.
Why put a scrapped plane into service? why not delay flight due to bad weather? why not change landing location to somewhere safe? Is time and money saved more important than the lives on the plane? I wonder how ground control people can now live with this blood on their hands.
God please help the families and rid us of incompetent people they have caused us too much loss after our corrupt politicians.

Unbearable loss of life
This is unacceptable !!! Our country is turning in to a land of tragedies but we choose to let it off go and continue ignoring abnormalities around us, instead of thinking why is every horrible event taking place here? How is each one of us responsible? From breaking a traffic signal to electing a criminal president, and to these plane crashes, each one of us is responsible for making our contribution in the pot of nuisance that cooks our lives everyday.

Ina Lillahi Wa Ina Lillayhi Rajeoon... My dads cousin and her daughter had died in the plane crash (#7 daughter) We are staying strong and hopefully the other families are to. I believe Allah wanted those 121 people closer to him. Inshallah, he has greeted them in Heaven. And let their sinns be forgiven.
I have just came to know about the incident and felt very sad on this tragedy. Its definately so difficult time for kith and kins , relatives, families and friends of those who were involved in the accident. I pray to Allah o give them patience . Its so unfortunate that this accident happened, Govt should inquired about the reasons and make it a point that such accidents can be avoided in future. We as a nation are very very sad about the tragedy, May ALLAH rest thier souls at the peace place, May ALLAH marcy upon them and make hereafter good for them. we are equally together with thier family members' sarrow and sadness. But question arises that who is the responsible, major factors could be; 30 years time span of plane, Lacking in maintenance that become a plane out of order. the plane was 30 years old then why had the CAA given permission to bhoja air to resume thier services?, did CAA see bhoja's air risk which remained the long period of time at the ground? these question arises from the minds of the people. after all i pray for those people who travels in these risky air lines and same like this.

If they were, how do you explain the crash of the AB Airbus, the most sophisticated thing to fly?
New aircraft have accidents and so do old aircraft.

the pilot was overspeeding as plane took of at 5:15 and reached pindi at 6:43 that is 93 minutes in a 27yr old plane .
standard time for pia from khi to pindi is 120minutes.the media should highlight this point

very tragic and sad news... after every month or so a bad incident happens in pakistan...
Just my 2 cents..Sad sad news for people of Pakistan. May Allah bless the souls of all the people who lost there life. Great human lose and we all should mourn this event. But there is 1 thing that bothers me... A plane crash could be a result of technical failure or unforgiving weather conditions and yet we see so many replys to this event... On almost all the news websites... But did we receive similar replies and condolences when mobs killed 55 passengers in chillas a month earlier? Did we see similar media representation of that event or of mustung massacre 3 months ago? Is the blood of bus passenger cheaper the plane passenger. We as a nation has to decide how to sympathize with accidental deaths and mass murders in our cities. Deaths due to technical failures or weather can be avoided in future. But since murderers of chillas and mustung are losse and free, more passengers will lose lives and Pakistan should not suffer from loss of life.. not any more.

Read this shocking news while in china depressed and down I don't even know how the relatives will cope with this loss. It is just too sad.
Firstly the loss is devastating and irreparable in every respect.. May Allah give strength to the families who have lost their loved ones..
Secondly, its only in a place like Pakistan where incompetence of few make the lives of thousands miserable. Even if it is assumed that it was the weather that became the cause of this tragedy, the fact stays that:
1- Why are these OBSOLETE aircrafts are still in operation after being discarded by Shaheen Air? 2- Why did the pilot DID NOT changed track and approached to any other landing air space like NWS? 3- Why it is being told that the Air Control just provides information to the pilot and cannot say NO to landing or DIRECT the pilot to land else where.? 4- What is the role of CAA in all this? 5- Why hasn't the DG CAA has not been arrested yet, pending inquiry? 6- Why hasn't the Bhoja Air asked to immediately suspend its overall operations? Isn't it enough evidence for this action to be taken OR are we waiting for another craft to go down?
These are only the initial thoughts.. The responsible s MUST be taken to task either by hook or by crook. This can be ONE least important issue to be taken as a Sue Moto for our Most Busiest Supreme Court if it can free itself and stop wasting its precious time in the so called IMPORTANT cases revolving around our PROPHETIC like politicians.
It won't be surprising If this all goes unheard, as we are known to RISE above all such happenings as a nation, in other words we are a DEAD Nation in addition to being declared as the most corrupt one also.

Another tragic accident in Pakistan aviation. Another event that raises question on Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan. Why they allowed such an old and delapidated condition aircraft to be operated by an airline that has previous notorious history of aircraft maintenance.
