"Realistic discussion on recommendations" This statement's means that USA doesn't want to talk to Pakistan on 1-Stopping/closing drones' attacks and 2-US' and NATO's officials don't want to open their containers by Pakistani officials.
so earlier they were fooling around as always complained by pakistani people..........
... yup, absolutely ...
these foreigners from another continent need to be very realistic about their prospects in this region ...
... even time for 'declare victory, and run' strategy is fast running out ...
Mr. Munter forgets that it is the US who is the culprit here. No matter what US says, the attack on Salala was deliberate and despicable. It even more painful, when the attack comes from an 'ally' rather than the enemy.
US seems to want to divert attention from their actions to terrorism. This is old hat and will not fly again. First the US President needs to apologize to people of Pakistan for the Sala attack, the US needs to provide a commitment to keep their drones away from Pakistan and thirdly, they need to compensate Pakistan for using its infrastructure, highways, roads etc. Only then should the land route be opened to US.
It costs US $7,000 to transport a container through northern route and only $1,000 through land route in Pakistan. so, how about US splitting the difference with Pakistan?
What Munter means by realistic discussions is that America will do to Pakistan what its soldiers did on the corpses in Afghanistan!!!
This isn't Mush days.
Opposition avd civil society is holding this Govt. accountable.
Shoot drones, block all NATO supply routes(inc air), SAY NO TO AID
