Ephedrine scandal: ANF names Ali Musa Gilani in inquiry report
The report added eight more names to the list of accused including Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s son Musa Gilani, PM’s Principal Secretary Khushnood Akhtar Lashari and Ministry of Narcotics Control Secretary Zafar Abbas Lak.
ANF alleged that Lak was trying to sabotage the inquiry process, and added that the ministry of narcotics has been asking ANF to stop its inquiry and also stop the proceedings in the Supreme Court.
The court raised objections over the report saying that some documents were incomplete.
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, will hear the case tomorrow (Friday).

The correct answer is ALMOST NONE.... Oh I got your logic, "Your Crow is always WHITE" I do favor the right of fair trial and It might be a weaker case.... but saying that PPP's govt is not corrupt and is performing on any level is absolutely Incorrect and even denies the statistics of the govt. itself. If you think this govt. has done ANYTHING, please list and compare the common indicators used all over the world. Just compare the data of this govt. with the previous one...U will be AMAZED......(I am not saying previous one was any good) If someone is jumping to conclusion, many others also seem to be blindfolded due to reasons I cant even guess...... And what exactly is the base of your logic, please enlighten us on this? and what are you pointing to, when u say "well done PPP"??????

This is why PM Gillani stopped his son Musa Gillani on Dubai International Airport by an emergency call from entering Pakistan to protect him from expected arrest whereas all the premiership's VVIP protocol was available on the airport (Daily Jang 21/04/2012). Wow what the excellent and live example of justice and equality of the law by the PM Gillani!!!!!

else I think stock market hit its ever highest on the next day of May incident in Karachi during Mushs regime so if that is the standard then this validates the crimes and that too against innocent souls which would be at least un-human. And what about Electricity, Food Prices, Oil Prices, ...... It is so unfortunate that in Pakistan the grocery prices have reached levels almost equal to that in US..... But what is more unfortunate is that These days many educated people in Pakistan just want to be Different for being different and this some times hinders with even accepting the clear and proven fact that this government has failed beyond levels and the main factor is the CORRUPTION...
The PM and his family has not spared any avenue which could have filled their greed for money.
@Logic Europe: No sane person can say what you are saying . All the cases are based on sufficient and in certain cases solid evidence. However the Government is obstructing the judicial proceedings and verdicts using all its resources and Govt. machinery.

The cases current SC has taken up have never been heard in this Country before, the cases like memogate didnt come from SC, PML-N took it up and they have to hear it. You seem to be so angry at the "biased" SC but you dont seem to understand how the whole economy has been brought to its knees due to corruption. Which i think is a greater sin. the establishment will stay in its boundary only if you have a credible govt. No thug can look into the eyes of a military general and tell him to do something.... Nay it never happened in the whole world ...people elect the govt. to perform all these tasks.

The point of fair trial is absolutely right. But The claim that gilani and zardari spent years behind prison and the ALL cases were false is equivalently wrong. If this was the case, they should have restored the judiciary the very next day of their government and put the evidence infront of court and prove their innocence. Why they had to keep themselves protected under NRO and delaying tactics in each and every case? Why these people not take the people who make FALSE cases to the court themselves, what are they afraid of? The Challan of Benazir case has not yet completed in 4 yrs by the PPP govt which has nothing to do with CJP again why? The answer is simple and does not require very complex analysis.-> overall this govt. is so corrupt that it may not be able to defend itself in any case and they try to run away from courts. Yes media and courts both are little immature but the immaturity cannot be compared with the sheer corruption of the current govt. Why they are investing in NEW projects and at the same time claiming that they are unable to pay IPPs the cost of fuel to give the people of Pakistan basic human needs? Lastly we could have raised questions on the neutrality of SC if PPP would have fought any case in courts. If you would have followed the trial proceedings of these cases you would have observed that they dont give any sound or conclusive arguments in courts but hold press conferences hastily afterwards and make big statements and cries for neutrality in front of media to confuse common Pakistani people.
What about Hanif Abassi who also got quotta on same terms?

Power of misinformation is enormous, Pakistan is still growing, media is growing and of course SC is growing, both institutions are not mature yet. Islamic and democratic principle of justice demands sold proof before one can be convicted, until then the accused is only accused and in fact innocent. In past both media and SC have over reacted like memo gate, other Gilani son's presumed involvement in Hajj scam etc.. PPP leaders including Zardari and Gilani have spent several years in Jail on false cases, some out of political rivalry especially from PML-N leadership, ex NAB (Ehtsab) chairman Mian Mansha, Justice (rtd) Qayyum have admitted to this. Who will provide reprieve to PPP leadership from those access committed or facilitated by Judiciary? Should not CJ SC take sue-moto notice of this and provide some closure, but this will only happen when one is truly neutral.
Mosa is a member of corrupte family and corrupte institution parliament of Pakistan. Mosa is doing all his act under the corrupt government. CJP could not alone do for the beterment of country and nation till the Pak army support unconditionaly Supreme Court. Saad Shibli Asc.
Please do not prolong the case like that of Contempt case. I still fear that this guy, like Moonis Ilahi will find a safe passage through technicalities and delaying tactics. May ALLAH give courage and strength to our courts. People are beginning to loose trust in Superior courts.
the reason CJ has been unable to convict anyone so far is simple .All cases are trivial ,false ,made up and without proof No matter how much it disappoints supporters of dark forces, law needs fair trial and solid proof and just because people want gilani and PPP out, no quick favourable decision should be expected
And i am sure the person who was listed in top 100-influential people will make the right decision.
