School teacher shot dead in Kech

A case has been registered against unidentified people.

QUETTA: A school teacher was shot dead by unknown assailants in Kech district on Wednesday.

According to Levies Force sources, unidentified armed men opened fire on Mullah Ahmed in Zamran area of Kech. Consequently, he received multiple bullet injuries and was rushed to a nearby state-run hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

“The deceased was a school teacher and investigations are underway,” a local official of Levies said. The motive behind killing could not be determined as yet.

The body was handed over to family members after completing medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered against unidentified people.
