ISLAMABAD/ KARACHI: Haq Nawaz from Bahawalpur, who claims to be the world's youngest tallest man, is facing serious health issues due to his constant growth.

Currently 7 feet 8 inches tall at the age of 26, Nawaz has developed bone-related diseases and has been unable to find himself any employment. The young man was in Islamabad for two weeks to seek help from the government.

According to Nawaz, his appetite and his other needs also grow with his height. His daily dietary requirement includes five kilos of milk, one dozen eggs, one dozen bananas and one dozen chapattis -- the total cost of which has spiralled out of his reach.

Nawaz told the media that the politicians seek him out for photo-ops, but no one has responded to his appeal for help.
