Politicians must restrained from making racist statements. Any utterance by any body that hurts the feelings of others on mass media be it TV or Press must not be aired and published. The leadership should try to be leader for all not just an ethnic group. Leadership should unite and not divide. Those who divide and play electoral politics for narrow end at the expense of disaffection must be hauled up and article 153A applied. Only then such incidents will stop. Hathyar hamara zevar hai must stop. It is archaic and illegal. Media should not give currency to such ideas.
