Fayyaz Muhammad Mian | 14 years ago | Reply PCB is in shamble since Mr Ijaz Butt's arrival as its chief. The Team debacled on New Zeland and Australia's tour and now on England Tour. They have proved that none of the present lot is capable of playing a long inning. They are all 'mohallah cricket club players' put together in a national outfit. Salman Butt, what has he been doing with the bat ? Miserable performance along with Imran Farhat who dropped a very simple catch at first slip and eased pressure on English players. None of the batsman played extra ordinary inning in almmost four test matches. Chief selector Mohsin Khan's selection was a wrong one. He made selection of the team 'a one man show'and forced way out for Saleem Jaffer who objected to his policies and disastrous selection mode. What the hell does he think he's doing ? Besides, what is the use of the fielding coach in a team which drop half a dozen chances and half chances in every game they play. Nasser Hussain discussed the same issue with Rameez Raja in the last match. It appears that many of the officials on the tour are pick nicking. They enjoy first class hotels, sponsorships, sighseeing etc. There is lack of approach in the team. It appears as there are communication as well as professional chaos that have marred team performance and brought bad name to Pakistan cricket. Let's be fair. Mr Ijaz Butt should resign from the PCB's leadership along with his cronies as did Shahid Afridi when he calculated that he was misfit in that outfit. Would anybody pay any heed to it ?
Mohammed Arif | 14 years ago | Reply Did BUTT asked our bats not to play, if he did so why not he did when we won TEST against Australia. If a young man can make 23 runs why not the seniors can do? It is very unfair to enjoy the facilities of such comments which are not logical at all.
