Murder: Woman, two daughters found killed

Saleem was Bibi’s second husband whom she married after her first husband Riaz was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment

BAHAWALPUR: A woman and her two daughters were found shot and killed at their home in Hassnapura on Tuesday. Kotwali police said Saleem, husband of deceased Asia Bibi, has been missing from the scene since the incident. SHO Mian Noor said Saleem was Asia Bibi’s second husband whom she married after her first husband Riaz was sentenced to 10-year imprisonment over five years ago. He said a raid was carried out at Saleem’s parents’ house in Lodhran but he was not found. He added that the investigation would be expanded to figure out if Riaz could have been involved in the murders.
