HYDERABAD:

The battle between the two groups of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh chapter has moved from verbal assaults at press conferences to the court.

On Friday, a civil court issued contempt notices to 11 doctors who were involved in the recent elections held despite a stay order from the court.

The doctors who have been called to court on April 17 include PMA’s Sindh president Dr Samrina Hashmi, general secretary Dr Hadi Bux Jatoi, vice president Dr Shakeel Qureshi and the election committee chairman Dr Fateh Muhammad Khan.
