KARACHI:

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has said that it has started supplying fuel for the ongoing rescue operation of Pakistan Army in Siachen.

In a press release, PSO says it has provided 40,000 litres of high-speed diesel for the rescue work in Giyari sector where 135 soldiers were buried in an avalanche.

Keeping in view the grim situation, PSO says it has also accelerated logistics operations in the area to support the army.
