Murder: Two shot dead to protect ‘honour’

Bibi was a mother of three and her husband had been serving in a private firm in Karachi for the past several years.

MANSEHRA: Two people including a police constable were shot dead on the pretext of ‘honour’ on Thursday. According to the police, Baqir*, a newly-appointed constable and Rubi Bibi* were seen together by Bibi’s brother-in-law Asim* in Dabgran village. Infuriated, Asim* allegedly took out an AK-47 and killed both of them. According to family sources, Bibi was a mother of three and her husband had been serving in a private firm in Karachi for the past several years.
