CAE-NUST convocation: Engineering graduates receive degrees

Around 56 graduates of aerospace and avionics engineering received their degrees.

As many as 56 graduates of aerospace and avionics engineering received their degrees during the convocation ceremony of 72nd Engineering Course of College of Aeronautical Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology (Nust) on Thursday, said a press release issued by the institution.


The merit certificate for best aerospace vehicle design was awarded to Pilot Officer Zaid Mustafa Naqvi, while the merit certificate for best avionics system design was given to Pilot Officer Junaid Bin Naeem.

In addition to these, the rector’s gold medal for best project in aerospace engineering was awarded to Pilot Officer Muhammad Umar Farooq, while the rector’s gold medal for best project in avionics engineering was earned by Pilot Officer Humaira Razzaq.

The president’s gold medals for aerospace and avionics disciplines were awarded to Pilot Officer Nabeel Bhatti and Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Asim Jan respectively.

The chief guest, Nust Rector Engr Muhammad Asghar said rapid advancement in aviation technology is making the profession of aeronautical engineers more challenging.

He advised them to remain poised to accept every challenge and explore new benchmarks of excellence.
