Sexual assault: Medical examination confirms rape

An FIR had been registered against the suspects and a team formed to raid neighbouring villages to arrest the suspects

BAHAWALPUR:
The initial medical examination of a 15-year-old girl on Thursday confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted allegedly by a relative and his two accomplices. Doctors who treated her at Shaikh Zayed Hospital stated that she was now ‘out of danger’. Division A police investigation officer Muhammad Ramazan said an FIR had been registered against the suspects and a team formed to raid neighbouring villages to arrest the suspects. Victim’s father said she was found lying unconscious outside the house on Wednesday night and brought to the hospital where she reported the incident. She told the family that she had been abducted in the morning.
